EDITORIAL DESIGN

Week 1 For the first week of this project I used layout paper to create designs for the layouts of formats. For example, cover, double-page spread and vertically scroll, etc.

Week 2 This week I came up with more ideas, which I did in illustrator. Also I did screen printing and seeing what colours go together. I looked at colour schemes when I did a couple of screen prints on top of each other.

Week 3 I had more ideas on Illustrator which I placed in my InDesign Booklet that I created. I edited images that I found on the internet on Photoshop. I tried various techniques like editing them black and white and using the threshold effect.

Week 4 This week I finalised my ideas and printed off my booklet.

Conclusion

For this project I looked at different ways to look at information on many devices like on computers and on paper. I looked at different ways to view it on a device like on a computer, tablet or phone. I produced a front cover, a double page spread, scrolling device image, image on many devices and a storyboard. This was viewed in a 16 page booklet. The images had a rugby league theme to it with a specific phrase repeated over the many devices and ways to look at the information.
